I'm not so sure about that.

I seem to remember something about the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

It wasn't a "power" given to the government but a "right" conveyed to its citizens.

oh bummer! Isn't that the reason our president called it a flawed document? Did you ever in your life think someone who called the Constitution a flawed document because it only says how the government will protect you but doesn't say a thing about what the government will do for your, would be elected president? It has to be the absolute positive proof that Bill Maher is correct when he says Americans are stupid. I rest my case.
