Palin has serious mojo -- to some of us. To secular liberals, a majority, she's been successfully painted as their version of the anti-Christ.

She did not govern as a true conservative; whacked the oil companies hard, passed a welfare package "for the children". Still, her rhetoric is appealing and maybe she's coming to mean it.

Most of the electorate is innocent of economic understanding. The current thugs are doing everything possible to exacerbate a long accumulation of government malfeasance. By 2012 we may experience the mule and the 2" x 4" effect. If so, maybe....

I'm dubious about the chances for a third party, even though I'd like to see it. History suggests the odds are insurmountable.

I think it is time for a third party to show its face.

I disagree...

As we have seen this has been attempted in recent history (Perot) and all it does is split the vote. While the sentiment is correct, the method is flawed.

If God himself ran as an Independent and was elected, it wouldn't matter one bit. Party trumps person....each and every time.

Like it or not, we have a two party system. What needs to be done is take back the Republican party from the RINO's and elect true conservatives.
