The statement is idiotic....which...considering the source, is not a surprise.

Trying enemy combatants in a military tribunal is not a departure from the rule of law. Designating enemy combatants is not a departure from the rule of law.

What he's referring to is his desire to bash GWB some more. Stupid, juvenile and contrary to US national interests.
