MARIO:

Not presuming to tell you what to do, but a very friendly suggestion:

These phonies are now pretty much reduced to mutual masturbation on this otherwise virtually deserted thread. They are thus neutralized here, with a minimal audience. So shouldn't you and other intelligent, honest posters likewise leave them here to play amongst themselves? As I say, just a suggestion for your consideration. Geneat

You're disappointing only yourself, Mario. I am not negative on this co. I am optimistic. I challenge you to point out a single "opinion of mine" that suggests otherwise.

These message boards are not for irrational longs to pat each other on the back and attack anyone with a different view. That's your problem. That's why you've attacked qdog, taxi, and now myself. You just don't read carefully.

There has been no news for sometime. In such a quiet period it can be useful to review what makes up the whole story. My God, Mario, if you cannot take an opposing opinion merely as another's opinion then maybe these threads are not for you.

You actually expect that everyone should be screaming AIPN! with every post.

But lets review the real facts as they stand:

1) There is absolutely zero proof that aipn has proven commercial quantities of oil in their concession.

2) Aipn did indicate that they were in the "talk" stage with a potential partner.

3) Aipn never indicated that this partner was a major oil company.

4) Aipn does have cash flow problems. Their financials are, of course, public information.

5) The concession is landlocked and real infrastructure will be needed to get any discovered oil to market.

6) Aipn does not have the pockets to develope any part of their concession.

7) Aipn has held large concessions in other countries which resulted in nothing in terms of JVs, producing wells, etc.

8) As of November 1, 1997, there is no evidence of any kind that Aipn will trade above its current range.

9) The short interest in this co is extremely low. Shorts are not paying much attention to this stock.

10)This is a story stock with speculation and hype fueling continued interest. But that interest is dropping as proven by the volume drop off.

Mario, you cannot, I repeat, cannot contradict any of the above facts with anything that's even remotely verifiable. You think of yourself as some kind of "aipn police" and therefore post accordingly. I think you and your type is the worst thing for a stock. I am optimistic about aipn, but it is individuals such as yourself that will do the most damage in terms of the stocks direction.

I do resent that people like you are also long in a company I have chosen to invest in. I resent it, but anyone--even those who don't look past their own nose-can invest in any company they wish. It's the American way.
