The first thing they cut are the vital services, in order to protect the stuff they have no business spending money on.

Is that the one in WW?

Why can't government understand that its job is to keep the rest of us safe from criminals and enemies, and if they do that successfully we don't need all the other crap they think they have to pay for?

What is the alternative? Where are the prisoners going to go?

They're even talking about closing the State Penitentiary.

The Government at every level always lets the vital and visible services go first....Prisons, Mentally ill, Roads with ruts clear to China, etc etc.....and then there are the schools....

Remember the State Lottery? That was to fund Education in the beginning. Who ever hears how much that takes in every year, and hears where it is being spent...Is that one gigantic slush slurpee?

But still, we can't get an exact or even in the ball park number of how many teachers per school, how many subs a year, now many assistants, and how many administrative people....

All we hear about is the kids can't learn large classes (the good ole' days when people actually learned something had about 30-35 kids a classroom) and we also hear whining that the classroom's don't have enough supplies....

We need to have actual budgets for EVERY small group in the larger pond, and also along with that the Expenditures for that smaller group....compare the two every semester.

We should do the same thing for every single entity in each State Government and every other type of civil government.
