Paul,

Your "birthday" reminds me of something I've been thinking recenty, I believe we may be getting close to the time when Digital Photography starts to take off, if not this Christmas, probably next Christmas. The cameras are coming down in price, and although most of us computer folks wouldn't go out and drop $300 to $800 on one, I don't think there are too many on this thread that wouldn't love to get one as a new Christmas gizmo/toy.

Although not the "killer App" everyone seems to be looking for, I think photography will be another of many computer application that will encourage upgrades.
