Good point - short term trades appear to be the name of the game so far this year.

Some money to be made on the fast furious short side, however, in a IT bear market.

Which of the majors do you like and what might entice you to pick up a few mid-tiers or juniors?

I think we had about the same idea.

Take a look at this chart of the HUI. It shows the price of the HUI for two periods: from the low of 5/16/2005 through the point where it finally broke out of its trading range around 11/06/2007. The second line is the recent period where POG started its rally from a low around 10/27/2007.

Point is that after such a large run up in 2005 the HUI took many months of sideways chop to resolve itself and make the next rally up.

Is it different this time?
