2. Pubs screwed up, became like Dems.

There's nothing wrong with utilizing the mandate to lead.

But the Democrats refuse to take any responsibility for the partisan atmosphere they themselves helped to create.

Basically it's a permanent power play. Mark Steyn put it best. Pass Obamacare, and the Republican ideal of limited government will be compromised forever. Democrats may lose in the short-term, but they'll gain in the long-term because the political climate will forever be shifted to the left.

And they won't care if they trash the economy in the process.
