Check out where Obama went yesterday to talk about jobs....and health care:

"So it is good to be here at Celgard, and it is good to be back in North Carolina. It is good to be back. (Applause.) We just concluded our tour, where we saw some of the workings of this facility where you’re manufacturing components for state-of-the-art batteries. You’re building separators to make sure diametrically opposed forces can work successfully together. And I couldn’t help but think: We could use your help in Congress. (Laughter and applause.) We could get one of those -- we could get one of those tri-part films and put it between the Democrats and the Republicans. (Laughter.) And it would improve conductivity. Right? Did I get that right? Okay."

You know, MM, he isn't ignoring your concerns. It wasn't by chance he picked to meet in a state of the art battery plant that works on components for lithium batteries:

In his speech in Charlotte, Obama pointed out that the US currently produces 2% of the world's lithium batteries. In five years, given the subsidies provided under the Stimulus bill, its projected that the US will produce 40% of the lithium batteries. Celgard was one of the companies that received a subsidy from the Stimulus bill.

While in NC, a guy asks about offshore drilling 21:26 minutes into the event. You might want to hear what Obama says in response:

FYI:

Solyndra, a solar cell producer is building a new manufacturing facility on 200 acres in Fremont, CA. It has received stimulus funds to the tune of $800 million.
