really I think it's that you've learned nothing. This clinging to oil is a silly idea. Sure, let's drill everywhere, but let's not delude ourselves into thinking that there's enough oil in the US to get us to independence.

Tax gasoline and use the proceeds to help us diversify away from gasoline and oil and it will be a gift to future generations that they will thank us for. It will pay for itself many times over.
