Well written Chinu. You express what most of us are thinking. Where were you when Bush did the damage? Obama has no choice but let Bush tax cut expire this year. How could congress make a law for tax free inheritance if you die in 2010? Just that one year only?

When Bush's tax giveaway to the rich expire this year, watch the revenge from the rich: heavy selling this year to take profit and that would cause the market to collapse, and low and behold, Obama will be blamed for people losing their paper wealth. This selling will probably occur before the November election so that R can gain a lot of seats in congress.

If any one thinks that elected officials serve for the good of the country over their self interest I have a bridge to nowhere to sell cheap.

Bush had 8 years to address the illegal immigration issue. He didn't and instead looked the other way.

Just because Bush didnt take care of it doesnt make it right not to take care of it now. Many things Bush did or didnt do were wrong.

Why? Is it political? These illegals can't vote

It is clear pandering to hopefully gain the Latino vote. Beyond that I believe O's intention is to legitimize the illegals one way or other, which would also bring a new wave of large numbers into the Dem ranks. Thus politics rather than enforcing our laws.

I see the issue in simple terms. We have an immigration policy. The illegals have jumped the que and are in our country illegally and should be sent home. (I expect most people have had people jump a cue in front of them in a bank, theater, etc. Makes you mad huh) Why should the illegals be allowed to stay when there are millions upon millions of people from many countries that are legally waiting their turn to come here? If we need more people from any one country we can raise the quota and welcome them legally like you came.

Regards

Neil
