Rumors of an exploding Gulf continue, brought to me by a bunch of alien conspiracy nuts on tonight's Drum. ( On Planet Earth, there is nothing happening, everything stable for almost 4 weeks, another storm delay on the relief well. I'll be glad when the Alien Lizard From Space group and the Huffpo Sky is Falling group leave...gasp...CIA Done Matt Simmons in...gasp.

Where have you gone, Sigmund Freudio? A nation turns it's panicked eyes to you.
Sanity is highly overrated.

There is something coming from the sea floor on Ocean Intervention III - ROV2

Edit: The picture was twice as clear 5 min. ago and they weren't still shots then.Whatever it is it is seeping from the floor.

Been going on for a while, to a greater and lesser degree since around 3.Reflector 44287 is showing a little murk that may or may not be related. ROV appears to be dealing with some type of action but I can't tell if it's from the line or the floor.

Those are the little critters who live in the seafloor mud. They arise every day about this time by the hundreds of thousands.

They are called Amphipods. Shrimp like mud dwellers. When they emerge, they leave wispy trails of silt in the water.

We hear a lot of "doom and gloom" from the Republicans and the "professional left" who claim that Obama is not doing things he said he would during the campaign. Here is news for them: sure signs of revival of the US auto industry. something that Obama needs to take with him during the campaign for November.

It appears that there are some people joining the jobless claims lines while there are others who are moving into jobs by quitting the jobless lines. This has resulted in the considerable slowing down of the increase in aggregate number of jobless claims. we have gone from 300,000 people a month joining the jobless lines to just about 2,000 per month. This is well within the figure of folks who regularly get skilled out from the job market. I hope Obama can get this message out to the electorate in a very succinct manner.
