What I don't see are government projects. What I do see is proper city planning. A far cry from other parts of L.A. such as Inglewood, South Central, and especially Bell whose local officials got caught paying themselves outrageous salaries. Don't kid yourself about the success of Seattle and Portland, either. Two of their biggest sources of tax revenues are Intel and Microsoft. Oregon and Washington state have yet to follow in California's footsteps and kill off the goose that lays the golden eggs. If you really think government is run by the same rules as successful corporations, you really need to wake up. The ONLY sector of job growth in the past several years have been in the public sector. Even California, with all of its budget problems, continues to add more workers to its payroll. Now I'll wait while you praise government even though government has not done a damn thing to fix your PTSD and give you a job. If you think you have everything figured out, why don't you actually go out there and do something useful with your experience?
