I think the China goal is to make Shanghai into HK financially.. HK still caries a stigma of colonialism which personally I would be wary of..... I still think the trend is down for the US but I am more optimistic re: US than TJ... closer to Kyrosl inre US...... but up up for China, India, Brazil.. It's the wild east and the wild west southern hemisphere :O) I have insurance... to profit from the madness of crowds :O) Carpetbagger TBS ????

And since Capitalism requires dilution of Governmental power and free movement of labor, capital, and profits, eventually the cultures in HK and Bejing are going to clash. Capitalism as we know it will not survive.. (IMO) Chinese middle class will achieve much better living standards... but I believe that the height of the US standard of living has been reached.. and will not be matched in general by folks in emerging markets.

between you and i, it in truth is you who have no place to flee to. should hong kong get blown up by a volcano, i would consider going to canada, trinidad, tobago, britain, any of the commonwealth, incl new zealand, not excepting australia, or check check in at beijing st regis, guangzhou white swan, shenzhen shangri-la how are you going to escape the coming depravity by the people for the people to the people? answer: you cannot, because it is illegal, unless you submit to encoded depravity with a long leash geographically as well as through time (10 years clawback). what, you do not know what i am talking about? then you do not know your own laws per rule by making up laws.
