And had O'Donnell won, who would be Senate Majority leader?

Harry Reid.

Yup - and we got Harry Reid as Majority Leader. Fine trade?

In the long run, not taking the Senate was probably a good thing. The Republican majority in the House has the power of the purse and can actively thwart the Democrat agenda for the next two years. Not having control of the Senate, IMO, puts the Republicans in a better position to capture the White House in 2012.

BCBob....Are you so far Right you are now Far Left, or did you just get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

Seriously, I'm interested in why you are sounding so angry, and next, exactly what you would do with this mess if you had a chance. How do you intend to win the next election if you are making the rules, except we have a Dem Senate and a Dem President....How will you win the next election?
