You don't believe democrats don't want to control the populace, just the things the populace needs or wants. I don't see the difference. And I don't understand how you can separate the two? Are you saying govt is a separate entity that has nothing to do with who runs it? Perhaps you can explain? George Washington said something very pertinent along these lines: “Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”
