Send TechHunter on a mission to visit the A TEAM!

TechHunter has come up with a plan to send himself or someone else as a representative of the investors on this thread to hear things straight from the horse's mouth, and to ask for a share buyback program.

I hope that others on the thread will offer their support and ideas to TechHunter.

I for one would like to know:

1. Backlog numbers
2. Results of the product improvement plan
3. How many Komatsu systems Nikon has and plans to buy. Cymer guys are in and out of Nikon every day, and I'm sure the Nikon guys probably talk about the Komatsu systems with Cymer, and have probably informally showed them the system. Do not be fooled by statements like "I have not seen any third party data". If Angus has seen the sysem, I'd like to hear his opinion rather than the opinion of some industry rag.

I would hope that they will consider implementation of a buyback immediately.

Please support TechHunter.

THC

Craig - Someone sent me a copy of an article from "WaferNews" which is on-line, but available ONLY by subscription. In it, there was a comment that "there might not be a suitable successor to optical lithography for general-purpose production" of chips. (This was explained by detailing the difficulties with resists, masks, etc. for smaller-feature production, etc.) You might ask: What chip-production technology do you consider to be the best contender for sub-.18 production, and when do you think this could be a threat to Cymer?
