Hmmmm. maybe I am missing something ... Are you assuming the new machines will have Windows 98, or is my statement wrong about Windows 95 being limited to 2 gig partitions.

From a business sense it seems that HD mfg. would try to sell the large high end units wich provide the highst profit margin..Why would they allow the buyer to compromise on a smaller drive by allowing easy use of the old drive..Again, you folks are the experts.. Just looking at it from a bread and butter stand point..
