My wife used to go to Planned Parenthood for her annual checkup, pap smear, etc., when we were young, poor, and didn't have health insurance.

It cost $300 to walk into an OBGYN's office, but $50 or so for Planned Parenthood. No brainer.

" I went to planned parenthood for check-ups when I was in my child bearing years. When there for my check ups I would see pregnant women that were there for their PRE NATAL CARE."

I just show your post to my wife. Her response, OH BULLSHIT. She grad from college in 1974 everyone of her friends and relatives went to their ob/gyn. She said women went to plan parenthood for only ONE reason and that was to get an abortion, she said that's where the 'plan' comes in

"I got better care at planned parenthood than the regular ob/gyn office. "

my wife got a laugh out of this statement. She said the people who worked there were nasty and the doc at your ob/gyn was more professional and friendlier

I will accept what you said ... no one in my family have ever gone there for anything.
