As long as RMIL gets the cash, they can pay off the difference in value in cash. At most it would be [200,000+1,500,000+250,000] = $1,950,000

You're about to say, "what if they don't get the cash in time?".
The answer is that they could negotiate with the other party to give them extra time.

Last qustion because I have to get out of here. You said:

How can the 13,000 shares post split account for your observation. Trust me, I understand you're saying there might be much more to come, but isn't a more likely scenario that the shorts aren't covering that the necessary shares aren't in cert form yet?
