Congratulations to all the winners at the midpoint of the race.<g>

I don't know who are the holders of SNMX, but have one question for information:
Is SNMX a Biotech company ?
I thought it was just a chemical company with interest in the food and beverage industries. <g>
I think in that category PLSB probably would better qualify as a Biotech, especially since reportedly it was incubated at BAX.
I may keep that last one as a possible entry in the future.
That is, if I live long enough for it. <g>

In the "if-you-can't-bet-them-join-them" category, I just bought some ICGN, so that if I don't win here, at least I won't feel so bad. Now I need JAZZ and/or ENDP to be bought out in order to have a chance. Anything good for ARIA or MNTA will just help others too.

7/8/11 Contest Update
Investors with a biblical bent might think of it as a Job rather than jobs report. And, undoubtedly, the hellish employment numbers set the Satanic shorts gloating. Still, despite Friday’s news, stocks managed a gain for the week.
At Friday’s close, the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 17.49% YTD (vs. up 15.50% YTD a week ago) and the Contest median was up 18.70% YTD (vs. up 15.39% YTD a week ago). The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 7.80% YTD (vs. up 6.15% YTD a week ago).
GENE’s portfolio (up 64.04% YTD) held on to first place. But both second place MCBIO’s portfolio (up 56.76% YTD) and third place ROCKY’s portfolio (up 54.74% YTD) had excellent weeks, significantly narrowing GENE’s lead.
At Friday's close, 33 of the 38 Contest portfolios were in the black, while 21 of the 38 were beating the NBI.
Below is the Top Ten list. Also below are the Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks ranked by % Gained and % Lost for the week (foreign stock prices are not converted to US$ in these two tables).
Portfolio adjustments: ROSG does 1-4 reverse split
Have a terrific weekend biotechies!
(All corrections, especially adjustments for splits, greatly appreciated.)
