<<<<<IMO all this Obama bashing is really, really dangerous. We forget that it was George W Bush>>>>

All the more reason for Obama to find his vision. The football team was slipping badly and so we hired a new coach. That coach was given a four year contract. If he is unable to offer the fans something - he likely will be replaced. So far the player salaries have exploded and we are still losing games. That's NOT the fans fault.

Obama did everything that a rational human being could have and should have done.

I wish I could believe that - unfortunately, I don't. Again - my criticism isn't about the amount of effort
put forth....it's about the change in Obama's world view once he took office and how those efforts were
then so ineffective because of that. It's about the efforts resulting in only little rocks getting put into the
jar, and the big ones ending up still left on the outside.

We forget that it was George W Bush that created this mess

No one is forgetting that. Obama was supposed to be like the guy in the movie "Pulp Fiction"...you know -
the "Cleaner" the guy you call in and pay a lot of money to. He was supposed to be the professional who
figured out how to clean up a god awful mess. From what I'm seeing, there's still a pretty serious mess.

this Obama bashing is really, really dangerous

So what is more damaging - the action, or the criticism of the action? Obama is an extremely poor
negotiator. For his concessions, he only commands derision and scorn from the other side...the tea
party and Republican folks out there...and whets their appetites for further brinkmanship and confrontation.
This is such a crucial skill that's required for someone in his position - being an able negotiator, that his
lacking in this ability constitutes a fatal flaw in confrontations with an implacable, unreasoning, extremist
right-wing foe.

Now we are aiding and abetting Republicans...What a tragedy

Yes it is a tragedy. But it is Obama himself who sets the table - I only eat at it. And right now I'm tired
of the dog food he's dished out over the last 3 years.
