Thanks for the update. Do you know how many 24 port systems DG
has sold, 3-4-5-6-7-8...? and number of trial systems put out by
DG by now? Is your source a single salesperson, I mean is two 24
port systems in 3 weeks his contribution, or is that what DG has
sold in total? What is the single largest order in the pipe that
you know of, not necessarily by DG?

Thanks Serafino, while, if true, it sounds promising, I find this simply amazing "I asked Bed if RACE sells the trial systems to the resellers such as DGN or Inacom, he would not comment on that detail.<<

I realize he stated earlier that he would only announce sales he deemed "significant", but considering the paltry "sales" that have been confirmed thus far, it would seem that any sales to resellers would be "significant" or at the very least "material" information to investors. Or is he worried that the checks won't clear.....(sorry Serafino that's not directed at you, just venting my total frustration with Barker and CO.) bp

Serafino:

Well, guess DGN has been busy in the few days that have elapsed since the conference call. Must have worked all weekend.

DGN has sold a several 24 ports systems and are installing trial systems daily.

Installing them "daily" are they? I find that very hard to believe since there are only around 36 trial systems out in the field as per Barker/Skalla last week. The "sold a several" thing is a lil' fishy too. Did you mean to type "they sold a 24 port system"?

What was revealing about this is the fact that DGN buys the trial
systems from RACE. They BUY them with no return policy.

Umm, then these sales would show up in the in the "about a dozen" number mentioned in the earnings release, don't they?

My source told me that he has been selling BTs for 3 weeks and he has already sold 2 24 port systems and has installed trials systems to large clients.

The boys in SA should take this guy or gal out for dinner. He alone accounts for 41.6% (5/12) of total BT sales to date. That would be the two he has already "sold" and the three trials soon to be turned into POs (since you stated DGN is buying them from RACE with no right of return). Just think if he had been selling BT for more than 3 weeks, sheesh, the sky is the limit with this guy. Think of it this way, 5 systems sold in three weeks works out to 86 systems in one year. Man, if he can just crank it up a little he'll be able to break my 100 server target all by his lonesome. Makes you wonder what the DR internal sales staff was doing all these many months.

You mentioned your "source" at DGN. I'd love to talk to him or her. Could you e-mail me their name and number so I can call them to verify what you're saying?

Thanks.

Serafino thanks for the informative post, but the price action in this stock has made me somewhat jaded lately there are a few things beyond those brought up by drakes which seem a little fishy.

>My source told me that he has been selling BTs
for 3 weeks and he has already sold 2 24 port systems and has installed trials systems to large clients.<

Suggest you find out the name of the purchasing company for Drakes... any company that could make an infrastucture purchase decision in < 3 weeks is probably very screwed up.

>I asked DGN if the sales were to large clients and was told: " we don't deal with small companies"<

A nice short answer which of course is total BS.

>I asked Ben if RACE sells the trial systems to the resellers such as DGN or Inacom, he would not comment on that detail. <

This worries me when you consider what might be his reasons for not disclosing this detail. I believe there revenue recognition method has to be spelled out quite clearly in their SEC fillings.

Don't get me wrong I want DR to be successful as much as anyone but based on 20 years of envolvement in making technology purchase decisions, its sounds to me like you've found the hype-meister of DGN.
