i have gotten some spam in my inbox about DHL UPS, FEDX, and yes IRS messages

i deleted all of them knowing that you don't get messages from these entities

the 'delivery' messages were the most persistent, but after notifying my email service each time, eventually they disappeared....i have a feeling her IRS mail is spam and fraud

I'm pretty sure it's a scam. The IRS doesn't notify using email and besides, they don't have my email address. I file through my CPA and they would notify him before they'd notify me. They notify through the USPO. I've always been very careful about paying taxes and probably pay more than I should. I am quite confident I don't owe anything. They probably owe me.

Probably came from Niger or some other place like that. Very strange wording.

I didn't open the attachment because I'm pretty sure it's either a scam or contains a virus. I'll forward the email - don't think the attachment will come with it, but it might.
