Koan: You're making it seem as if you, Wharf, SS were the ONLY people who were seeing O's weaknesses here(and Pal's board) and that's simply not true.

What is true is that some of us chose to support him while acknowledging them instead of harping on them day after day, post after post(what felt like some days, anyway) like you did.....some of us were willing to give him a high-five when he did do the right thing, while you have chosen to either "told you so. Told you we were right" and or continue to harp on the same problems you had with him, quoting the CBC etc, time and time again.

Speaking for myself, this is what I got irritated about.

""""And even MSNBC started running old news clips of FDR's famous speeches challenging the robber barrons of the day. There was a lot of contentiousness. The middle kept telling us we were helping the right wing and many got very mad at us for saying anything negative about Obama.

But what happened?

Obama took a hard left turn, put forth his1/2 trillion jobs program (which has no chance of passing-but didn't matter) and started challenging the right wing; and since then Obama's poll numbers have risen dramatically and he now is squashing all Republican candidates in every poll."""""

Just as we tried to tell people would happen if he would just fight.

Koan, I couldn't agree with you more. Obama needs to fight. His weakness doesn't help him. Americans respect a fighter. You know, Bush Jr infuriated me, because of his bad policies. However, one thing I respected him for was doing what he thought was right and riding roughshod of the Dems to get his policies done.

I honestly thought Obama was going to be the same way. I thought he was going to engage in a Manhattan Project on renewable energy, but he went timid on that. I thought he was going to be with the common man and get tough on derivatives regulation and prosecution of the banking criminals, but he turned out to be a panderer to Wall Street interests instead. He's gone soft in so many places, that I find him indistinguishable from the GOP in those places.
Even his healthcare plan gave up too much to the GOP. Sheesh.
