Number the squares from 0 and it's easy to see the formula yields 2**63 which approximates $922 quadrillion. Indicentally, this is the size of the address space on Merced (in bytes, not dollars).

Sales will certainly have a nonlinear component. After all, isn't that why we're here?

Goodevening. Do you know how many ports SDS has sold?
I dont call 24 ports (single server) a fairly large deal, or maybe
you meant 24 servers, not ports? You may have told me before,
I forget, but how many sales people do SDS now have that sell
BT? Why do you think sales is directly proportional to number
of sales people? Sales may increase with the number of
potential customers aware of BT.
