He didn't specify but I can see your argument. As for poor kids, wasn't this in response to Juan Williams' question about the poor and minorities?

I just don't see it as a government jobs program.

You Hoo, get a grip. He is eliminating some school jobs so that poor kids can EARN some money. They would be supervised of course. As for how to determine who gets the jobs, how about those receiving free breakfast, lunches etc.

Give ALL kids a chance. Not all white kids are rich.
