thanks, I can see your reasoning there but there are opportunities for all types of companies to make a name doing different types of consulting and other services and it can be a successful nitche to fill. By your reasoning there would be no reason for consultants or real estate agents in some states and in others there would be no reason for an attorney for a real estate transaction to do a closing since everything can be handeled by a title company and the buyers and sellers. There wouldn't be a need to purchase stocks through a broker for some stocks other than for your first share since there are companies that have Drip plans but people still do it. Actually since everything that a company like BRK.A does can be handeled by other professionals maybe Mr Buffet should be more careful in what types of business he associates himself with. I am sure that a company wanting to go public would find it in their best interest to have someone handle many of the details that need to be taken care of. Someone has to be able to tie everything together with all involved and in many cases the law firm, CPA firm and underwriter are specialists in their own areas. Should a company going public want to make sure everything is done as efficiently as possible it would make sense to do this. This we have seen demonstrated in many service businesses that are successful although they can be eliminated. We all know what kind of problems we can encounter in different situations if not everything is done properly the first time.

Your being a former shareholder then you know that Eutro has gone back to it's former business plan before they became sidetracked in other matters. <and Floyd is back in charge> So the suddenly dosen't really fit in this area. If you are concerned that their alleged business smells please share your info with us on how you came to this conclusion especially if you know something that we don't. We must just see things totally differently in service businesses. In any case best of luck in your ventures.

David, it may very well be possible for some companies to go public using the services of a law firm, a CPA firm, and an underwriter, as you wrote. However, quite often, smaller companies are managed by the technical/creative people who developed the company product etc. Quite often those people don't all have the administrative/management background to bring the company public.

Additionally, you are missing part of the business goals, as I understood them from Brad. EUTO has personnel with strong financial and business expertise. They are selling "management consulting". In some cases this will mean providing the expertise to bring the company public. In other cases it may mean an ongoing contract for management consulting services, which could provide revenues on a monthly basis. I think you would agree that there are some very successful management consulting companies that already exist.

Also, I understand that another goal for EUTO is to package and market products. Again, I suspect there are successful companies in this area as well.

I can not say that EUTO will definitely be successful. I haven't met the people, and right now, those people are the commodity that EUTO is selling. However, as a business concept, in my opinion, there are other companies, some successful, in the same business.

Only time will tell if EUTO will become successful. If you have some specifics regarding your concern that "their alleged business smells", I sincerely would love to hear them.

David, for something that no one needs there sure are a lot of them. Try doing a symbol search by typing in the word "holding" and see what you come up with. It looks to me as if atleast a few companies think they are useful.
That's not even getting into the fact that we seem to be moving out of that area, if I remember correctly.

George
