I think most reading this thread with either a long or a short bent have already 'jumped in', possibly more than once. :)

If I had no position in RACE and were encountering it for the first time today, I would certainly consider taking a partial long position at these levels. The major downside pressure for the next few weeks will be tax-loss selling, so I'd be reluctant to take a full position just yet, but it seems clear that BT sales reports should start flowing soon. We already know from the conference call that as of that date RACE sold more BT this quarter than in the prior quarter.

One has to consider the fact that RACE management is certainly aware of shareholder dissatisfaction with the stock performance since the last annual meeting and will undoubtedly want to have good news to share before the January meeting. No CEO would want to face his shareholders empty-handed under the present conditions, so I'm reasonably sure that we'll be seeing real news before then.
