In this current market many companies are releasing news of exploration updates in order to keep shareholders and potential investors informed and in so doing help to increase or at least support their shares prices.

Obviously Ranger is the exception to this phenomena and their can be only two reasons ;

1 - they truly don't give a dam about what shareholders think which in my opinion is very dangerous because no news will drive the share prices down to takeover levels

2 - they don't have any news to report or they want to keep whatever information they have secret to buy up all available land in the vicinity of a new discovery.

I'm hoping for option 2. In any new play the geologists have to learn many things and they will not always hit the nail on head. Although we all take exploration for granted it's not as easy as it seems.

Ranger and it's partners have spent 21 million plus in Fort Liard and they have been going at it for almost 1 year now.

500 BCF or gas is very big and if they know they have it and are trying to expand it then I support the company in keeping it's secret truly secret.

Ranger stock has been trading up quietly in heavy volume lately, so I'm assuming that the institutions are lining up and placing their bets.

Maybe we will get a surprise Christmas present, now wouldn't that be a merry Christmas

Cheers and good investing
