It gives the President the power to detain indefinitely or assassinate an American citizen without Judicial review. Do we know who sponsored/authored that particular provision of NDAA?

I do understand it. We are making a lot of noise about it. I feel safe under Obama in that no US citizen will be eliminated without just cause and if some are then they are the terrorists who reside abroad and have renounced everything American. They are so anti American that they consider it below them to even go through the process of renouncing their citizenship. At least the Facebook founder who did so went through the process. But these AQ terrorists do not deserve the right of US citizenship.
