That is good news, and it's about time. The $60 million is pocket change to Apple, but I'm still sorry they had to pay it.

Is there ay head rolling at Apple? Who was the legal counsel when Apple bought the trademark from Proview? $60 million is small compared to the $ 120B cash that Apple has. But, it is still a charge of $ 0.06/share in this quarter. The sale of iPad in China was delayed due to the dispute with Proview. This is an opportunity cost that should also be taken into account in addition of that $ 60M.
