i don't see a strong need for a compatible drive with 1.44 disks. they are old and obsolete. why pay more just so it is compatible with an obsolete product?

More importantly, they don't mention what the retail price is projected
to be. I doubt they'll be anywhere near $99. Like the LS-120,
too little, too expensive (?), and way too late...
