"they said "well your EKG isn't perfect"

The proper answer was to say, "Neither am I. See you later."

Maybe skip physicals, too. Instead of going to the doctor and asking "Is there something wrong with me?", wait until you can say, "It hurts when I do this."

What started me on this rant... I need a nap! <g>

Don't get me started on this...my father in law died two years ago but the five years that preceded his death were a case study in what's wrong with our health care system. When we moved him to our house, different state and therefore different doctors, he was followed by 6 folders each two inches thick of medical history...an undecipherable mess of paper... communications between doctors was abominable. The new team here had to start from scratch...all new tests, diagnoses, meds prescriptions...the works. Lots of $$ as you can imagine. In the end one of the tests ended up hastening his death.
