Even with actual evidence (canada) a registry would be another bloated government boondoggle and no practical use to police you continue this line of thinking. I thought you had a touch of engineer and decent math skills.

a gun registry isn't going to bring in a dictatorship, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a crazy loon. You would hope so. But I'm not so sure. The left is begging Obama to rule by executive order. They love unelected liberal judges legislating from the bench. The appetite for dictatorship does exist. A lot of other SI liberals (Shep for instance) would love for the govt to declare war on people like me and lock us up.
