That's what struck me ... why smoke only going out one side? Personally, I've never even seen a ported shotgun though. I think the idea of porting is silly. If a shotgun is tough for the shooter to handle, shoot a smaller guage.

You clearly know your stuff...I am impressed. No doubt you meet my definition of a "gun nut" ok...super gun enthusiast, but do you really want to see more profits for Gun Mfgrs or more unrestricted sale of assault weapons to our citizenry, any of them? You had mentioned "nics" in a previous post that you said you favored. Is that an acronym for some form of National Gun Registration? It seems so logical and necessary to me. My gosh, I have my cars registered and cannot legally, publicly or privately, sell one of them without transfer of registration. Now after this post to you, don't come out with some "birther", socialist, black helicopter nonsense...please, I am beginning to think you a reasonable, smart person for your positions and not some kind of NRA flack. OK, sometimes I am so naive...take your "shots".
