I think it's entirely possible and probably true.

Broken Clock (A realtor) on SI was the one that sent it to Snopes. And all they could do is say 'probably'.

It's "probably a lie" that a tax cheat would be appointed to run the Treasury Dept and IRS ... I mean what kind of stupid President would appoint someone like that .... so it didn't happen. Only it did.

Fact it, there are loads of people who will cheat if they get the chance. Funny that liberals are especially prone to cheating:
