Good analogy, Pancho. It reminds me of another one...I think this was a critique of TA: something about trying to divine a logic to, and guess future movements of, a long pole that is sticking up through the open roof of a barn and mysteriously moving in different erratic patterns. It turns out that the pole is tied to a cow wandering in the barn and its movements are truly random... Ted

Good analogy. But is the market a random process? I'll say no to that question, but often the factors pushing the market around are so complex and varied that it appears to be random. BTW, any opinion on PNDA? CL
