Bill, The only type of company that LU should be buying is a company that deals in any one or combination of the following; selling, production, offering, of Internet voice or data, not a peripheral company like COMS. I think CSCO and LU should merge and blow all network companies out of the water dlcwest.com along with investors minds. Get over with, why bother, stop playing games and get to work building the stupit info. highway already, the internet is a damm sidewalk, it is a joke. Way too slow, STILL!

Greg--> The action in LU today was encouraging, nice to see it recover for once.

Bill,
Just heard a few minutes ago that LU had offered Asnd $35 during meetings the last few weeks and they wanted $40.

Does this mean LU *must* use its cash reserve to buy any company that it likes before Oct. 1998? What's pooling interest anyway? LU in an interview said it plans to buy 20-30 companies in the next few years.
