OFF TOPIC: ORCL

Bought some SYBS today: Turnaround story, apparently good new products launched, the stock doing nothing for 2 years, cash-flow increasing, good positioning for and commitment to Java, sizeable company, sales of about $1bn.

ORCL certainly got hit. My experience is that it is advisable to wait for another 10 to 15% drop in price from today's close (I don't know where) over the next let's say 10 days. Unless you believe in end of Databases as we know them, ORCL is a good long term play. Wouldn't buy with expectations for a quick buck.

Re:Anyone out there considering buying ORCL?

With today's record volume, I think lots of institutional dumping was takeing place. Like OXHP, the downtrend should continue for a couple of weeks. Then, in my opinion, is the time to buy. I think.
