Ticker, thanks for relaying the AOL msg. To comment:

I wonder how this poster gets an audience with the pope when we're screaming for information here?

<<The following are the facts that I was able to pull from him.>> Why would Cal let anyone pull anything from him? (I do feel a tug on my leg)

<< He informed the board that he was leaving the company at least two months before it happened>> This guy just talked with Cal. Cal wouldn't say "I gave the board at least two month's notice - or was it 6 months or maybe it was when I started I told them anytime after five years and I'm outta here, consider this notice".

<<The negative posts about Berg are the furthest thing from the truth>> The meat of the things posted about Mr. Berg are a matter of record. There was some opinion by a national magazine that was given as a cautionary note to investors at the date of publication (which was duly noted on this thread). There was no flaming.

<<Cal openly admitted that he is an engineer by trade and not a marketeer>> I strongly doubt that Cal would say this. His knowledge and experience are far too vast to make a simplistic statement like this.

<<Archibald is exploring different financing options that are now alot tougher since the price is depressed.>> They show anybody that has money to invest a good battery and there will be no worry about financing. Therefore I doubt that Cal would have said this given his statement that production is on schedule.

<< I have also spoke with Jordan Goldstein, (nice name) who handles their investor relations, if that is what you call it. She is basically out of the loop with everything ..> What on earth would such an unknowing person be doing in IR?

<<I have alot of respect for FMK and his posting over the past and I honestly can say that this VLNC thing is going to happen real soon and he is going to be a GOD. This is not going to happen until management turns more proactive with information.>> Wait, I thought this thing was going to happen real soon, so why does it depend on management releasing information?

<<First of all I have a very large position in this stock and my average price is a hair over 8.5.>> This may be the most truthful part of the post and the inspiration for the rest of it.

My opinion is that this post was misinformation from a frustrated AOLer.

Thanks Ticker!!! What a message
when I'm here trying to imagine
what the hell really happened
with Cal, etc etc....

Impossible to be sure it is not
from a psychopathic liar, but
only a real psycho case would
be motivated to make up this
story just to jerk a few gulliable
schmucks like us around, IMHO.

Hey, not sure whether I'll emerge
with a shirt on my back, but never
had this much fun risking my
retirement nestegg before!

'FMK is GOD' - well maybe Moses
but I too will gladly
bow to his feet as well as the
other fine bearers of info on
this board if the phoenix rises
from the ashes of Nevada desert!!!!
God bless us everyone.
