Thanks. Hard to believe how time flies. What isn't hard to believe is how the "critics" loved to tell me how wrong I was as Apple went higher... but have not returned to say "you were right."

BTW, It turned out the growth assumptions many were making about Apple were wrong. I said it was very hard to grow earnings at 20% after you hit $500M... and they found that out as growth vanished and now the fanboys wait around for the next new invention from Apple as if they are easy to pull out of hats. We had the same sort of people running Cisco and HP back when Carly thought HP could invent a new printer industry every decade or Chambers thought Cisco would not get competition and continue to grow at 20% forever...

There goes the neighborhood.

More info on President Obama visit - Be aware of around Moffett Field and event locations on Thurs & Friday

mv-voice.com

blog.sfgate.com

Thursday:
The president is set to arrive by plane at Moffett Field at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

Obama is set to attend two fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee on Thursday
1) A Democratic National Committee fundraiser at Fairmont hotel in San Jose.
2) A dinner fundraiser for 20 at Los Altos home of Anne Wojcicki, 23andMe CEO and wife of Google-founder Sergey Brin.

Friday:
o The president leave from Moffett Friday morning shortly after his talk at Walmart.
o The president is scheduled to speak at 9:55 a.m. Friday morning at the big box retailer on Showers Drive.

A friend told me this schedule. I wish the town would send out what address Wojcicki is at so we can avoid it. Hell, last time he came I took a different freeway home to avoid the mess but so did many others and it too was a mess.

There is a ton of construction already going on near the Walmart that has our traffic messed up... but it might be fun to bike over and see the security.

What pisses me off with BOTH parties is they come here to raise money and the local economy suffers with gridlock even worse than the typical mess.

Thanks for the kind words.

Looks like I nailed another global trend ... technology replacing "would you like fries with that" accelerated by SOARING demands for higher minimum wage and SOARING costs to provide health insurance (maternity leave, etc.) for these low skill jobs.
They can spin it all they want but higher costs are accelerating the move to replace low skilled workers with technology. Just look at how they tested it first in Boston where it saves them the most money on labor
