On that thread, he bans anyone who posts anything contrary to his pro AGW beliefs and politics. His chief helper is Wharf Rat. That's a common phenomenon on all SI's moonbat boards. If they want to engage in one sided circle jerks and censor any deviation from "correct thought", it's an understandable aspect of their ideology. I thought about banning Land Shark in response to his booting whitepine from the now seldom used enviro thread, but I won't stoop to that level. I'll only give "time outs" for egregious personal attacks, although I made a permanent ban exception for AlexMG, as that individual seems to have serious anger issues that I'd rather not put up with here. Between May 17 and June 15, Landsharks thread had three posts. IOW he hardly posts there at all himself. Cause no one reads his thread. Landshark and Rat post more on THIS thread than they do on their own closed climate threads. And all they do here is call names. Leftists don't seem to like freedom of expression.

As moderator I do ascribe to free speech within limits. I will tolerate some dissent and skepticism over the environment movement, but will not tolerate off topic, political comments, or smearing of climate scientists. That includes any accusations of fraud or academic misconduct... Yep.. sounds pretty fascist to me.. So.. In Land Shark's world, a Climate Scientist has Carte Blanche to engage in fraud and academic misconduct.. Just so long as it involves the AGW agenda.. Sieg Heil!! Hawk
