Congratulations to all recent posters!

You have now contributed to breaking the record for the much-coveted "SI Thread Which Has Deteriorated In the Shortest Amount Of Time."

The thread was started on Dec. 12 with, IMO, a very clear objective and Raison d'Etre, followed by a dozen or so posts indicating an anticipation of good things to come from the combined efforts of the several talented individuals making up the "team."

[OK, Jay, bookmark it because it could be another thread from which you can draw additional information to assist you in your trading decisions. Check it out again sometime on Sunday.]

So I check it again on Sunday. What do I see? One poster is upset that he hasn't received a reply to his post of 2 hours earlier. This now triggers 1/2 dozen posts similar to "Don't be upset, it was a great post!" to soothe him. This is followed by another 1/2 dozen or so from the original poster thanking those who "apologized."

Enter the self-appointed Saviors of our money, who find it incumbent upon them to tell all us idiots what we have to watch out for, how we can get stung, be skeptical, etc., etc., etc..

These self-appointed are, of course, only imparting this knowledge out of the goodness of their hearts - not to gain cyber-superstar status by vicariously pumping up their own self-importance (Yeah. Right.)

OK, folks. You've broken the above-cited record. Break open a bottle of champagne (or whatever else you want to do in the locker room), but can we please go back to the original intent of this thread?

Unless, of course, you wish to try for the 2nd most-coveted award: "SI Thread Which Has Continued to Deteriorate For The Longest Amount Of Time." [Note: this award is VERY difficult to attain - BRE-X and IPMCF are running neck and neck and have set a goal of 5 years]

<sigh>,
Jay
