NEW YORK, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Issues to watch this morning:
* Microsoft Corp (Nasdaq:MSFT - news), Intel Corp (Nasdaq:INTC -news) and other major technology companies are in talks with Tele-communications Inc (Nasdaq:LBTYA - news; Nasdaq:TCICP - news) to supply advanced cable TV set-top boxes in a deal that could be worth $3 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported

Its accomplished what Intel can only hope to accomplish and what IBM once had and has lost.

It is a completely diversified company. It knows how to get out of areas it cannot handle while other companies often persist and drown. IT has a range of products from consumer to industrial and from capital investment to media.

IT should be around as long as capitalism is.
