SoundView downgraded Compaq's earnings estimates from $3.88 to $3.45... a significant reduction. Will take Dell down with it. MEATHEAD

Mohan, Hi!!! Rather disgusting isn't it???....the game must go on for the "experts" who missed the game the last ten runs.....What Sig and Venkie are saying is going on with the plant and the announcements by Michael are everything contrary to this market trend...Dell is doubling the shifts and doing $6 Million / day....somebody must be buying...also the post of this morning where Mike once again upgraded the % of business off the web to %50.....this IMO is nothing but bullish sentiment...somehow, these guys have to make $$....and when ;you talk to JBN3....He keeps asking "why would anyone sell Dell." Mohan, Chip sales were the highest ever in history, clocking rather an impressive 12 billion dollars or so, what gives? Add to that the fact that the unit price for chips has declined dramatically, and it means that there are a LOT of chips being sold. And as we know from reading this thread, no one is buying computers any more, because we all have our closets full... Spells 'buying op' to me. Just the market's Christmas 10-20% off sale. regards, 3.
