Let us not put forth "old economy" arguments. Ther is a new economic order called " globalization" where CorpAm has access to a better educated workforce at lower costs. Let us quit blaming the illegals and focus on our economic policies which allows companies like Burger King do corporate switching. The solution to preventing a Burger King scenario is not lower corporate taxes. The solution is to keep the same rates and move tax revenues to improving our education system. We do not need to divert that revenue to build more weapons and jails.

So let us move to improving our quality of life here and everything will take care of itself. Or else the roar of the "lion of globalization" is getting louder louder And would soon own the bark of folks here who continue bark on issues like illegal immigration and lower taxes.

Look...........Corp America has been making money hand over fist during and since the great recession. They seem to forget that integral to their success is the fact they were founded in the US of A, one of the most stable countries in the world.

Now they can toss around the term global all they want but they are still based here in the largest economy in the world. Its in their best interests to make sure the American consumer gets paid a decent wage.

Please explain the "financial incentive" a Mr. Corp. America, can achieve by hiring more part-time workers, who they employ less than 30 hours a week, instead of less than 40 hours a week?

Is it cheaper to hire 3 people that work 38 hours a week each, or six people that work 19 hours a week each

More people, more paperwork, more payroll fees, more training, more management logistics.

You are saying that Mr. Corp. America is achieving greater profits my hiring twice the number of people at less than 30 hours, than could be achieved at less than 40 hours.

If so, then why has Mr. Crop. America been pleading to return "Full Time to more than 40 hours"??

18 Democrats join GOP to restore 40-hour work week under Obamacare

I mean if Mr. Corp. America is making tons more money using these sub-30 hour part-time workers, then why would they want to go back to a 40 hour measurement point?

I realize these are difficult questions for you to come up with an answer too.

It is reported we have 8MM illegals working in the US, maybe that is part of the root cause of the supply / Demand curve on the employment front?
