Zeev, when it comes to aksef I doubt just about everything.
I hope Russia doesn't get the whole building contract, I always had the impression the E.P.C. would be divided between numerous companies or countries, time will tell?? As far as leaking pipelines no matter who builds it incidense of leaking will be less because of climate in the Sudan v.s. someplace like Russia is different. The drastic changes in temperature in a place like Russia with all the expansion and contraction = leaks. The pipeline in Alaska is under constant repair due to these climactic factors, and I think it was built by mostly U.S. companies. I know we are so premature with our speculation since the only info. so far on this was the single news source about Russia. One positive factor,IMO, if it is true is it brings another superpower into the equation = less likely to be messed with by the rebels or anybody else. As usual just my opinions and just trying to stimulate further conversation. Jim

Zeev, just a thought, but comsidering the economic profile in Russia today maybe the consortium will get a bargan on the construction price which will take some pressure off the capex budget. All said, you lead us in good direction to focus on the importance of quality. Ed

Zeev, do you have your 2 dollar hat back from the cleaners? Looks like it's now in style. Ed
