Mike, let me examine things over the weekend and I'll post then. Watching RIG test its 200-day mav as I type this post. And you know darn well how good its earnings report and forward statements were.

Mike, the drillers have not found bottom yet.

Let them bottom and base. Use MDCO as an example, bouncing off its 200-day ema multiple times only to dive below and hold at key support. NE, DO, RIG, CDG ... stocks with fine fundamentals all doing the same. These stocks should hover at/above key support until fundamental news or a rash of analyst downgrades come out. Downgrades will come if uncertainty over crude oil prices and SEA situation clouds the future revenue growth picture. Fact of life.

The cheerleading on the SI threads are in denial of market reality. It is difficult to find the bottom, it is not as hard to spot the reversal in trend, it is not hard at all to catch the uptrend.

Re: "When do you se this final thrashing arriving (or is it here now!)?" ... this is the falling knife question, my dear. Let the knife land.
