Yeah, I hope Jerome is OK.

Sales taxes are tough... I feel for the small business that might have a 4% profit margin after paying 9% sales tax in CA. I mentioned it relative to the article that said Amazon pays VAT in Europe because each country in Europe is similar to each state in the US... we all have our own "VAT" but we call it "sales tax" here. Those who love to tax everything to reward their backers or give more perks to their contributors with the funds still talk about a VAT for the US...

How long have I warned about high taxes moving jobs overseas????

(A: Since I left HP in 1998 and was free to be somewhat critical of company direction though I was fairly careful to not trash them directly as they were not alone and we split on great terms AND I don't blame them for saving money by moving jobs to save taxes.)

Now the CEO job for Qualcom will move to Singapore...

First talks are for Intel to buy Altera for $56 now Avago (the part of HP I used to work at before it was spun off as Agilent, sold by Agilent to a hedge fund and taken private then IPOed as Avago and "inverted" in Singapore for lower tax rates...) will Buy Broadcom for $37 Billion; $54.50/Sh Cash Offer, $61.94/Sh Stock Offer

blogs.barrons.com

You have to CHUCKLE at how the Spell Chucker changed Avago to Average in the URL name.....

Have you upgraded or reserved a copy yet?

I don't click boxes or install new software until I'm certain it is legit... and I'd hate to have a PC that works fine, other than slow to boot up and resume, turn into a bug monster. This looks legit so I will at least reserve a copy...

I checked their website and they say it is available July 29
